PH Supports Achieving SDG, Leaving No One Behind

 Health Secretary Francisco T. Duque III delivers the country statement during the General Debate of the 72nd Session of the World Health Assembly at the Plenary Hall, Palais des Nations, Geneva on 21 May 2019.

 Secretary Duque shared the Philippine Government’s commitment to achieving Sustainable Development goals 3.8 (SDG 3.8) and “leaving no one behind.” With the passing into law of Republic Act 11223 known as “the Universal Health Care Act of 2019,” the Government will work “towards making sure every Filipino has a designated primary care provider, and that health promotion will be a key element in engaging public towards healthier behavior changes.” (Geneva PM photo)
