WHO Recognizes Philippines’ Universal Health Care Act

Director General Tedros remarked that “we have been promoting the Philippines’ success” in signing the bill in line with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Health for All) and heralding it as a “solid commitment” on the part of the Philippines to promote the health and well-being of the Filipino people.
