11 July 2017 GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – The 26-member Loboc Children’s Choir captured the hearts of Filipinos in Geneva and Vaud, Switzerland with their songs at the benefit concert at Theatre de Madeleine in Old Town, Geneva on July 08.

Composed of kids ages 10 to 16 years old from the Loboc town, Bohol, they beautifully rendered a variety of musical pieces such as Deo Dicamus Gratias of Victor Johnson, My Life in You by Arnold Zamora, Larong Pinoy by Joy Nilo and Kalesa by Ernani Cuenco.

The main beneficiaries of their concerts will be the displaced students and teachers of the Dansalan College in Marawi City and those adversely affected by the most recent destructive earthquake in Leyte.

Currently on their 2nd European tour, the Geneva leg was partly organized by the Ugnayan Bayan, the federation of Filipino organizations in Cantons Geneva and Vaud.

The Philippine Consulate General in Geneva supported in organizing the performances of the Loboc Children’s Choir in various venues in Geneva and Lausanne.
