03 June 2016 -Ms. Lani Misalucha, the Philippines’“Nightingale”serenaded the Filipinos in Geneva during her benefit concert held at the Salle Communale - 64 Route De Grand Lancy on May 14.
Consul General Enrico T. Fos, complimented Ms. Misalucha for the awe-inspiring voice and thanked her for her wonderful performance in Geneva. He said that the performance of Ms. Misalucha “is an inspiration for budding Filipino artist, for them to pursue their love for music.” He added that the concert of Ms. Misalucha offered a welcome respite from the daily routine of working for a living.
Part of the proceeds of the concert will be donated to the Curuan High School, a public high school in Western Mindanao. Ms. Anna Decena Desplands of Decena Entertainment, who organized the concert, partnered with the Western Mindanao State University in choosing the beneficiary school.
Geneva is the last leg of her European Tour which began in London on April 30. The other cities visited by Ms. Misalucha were, Manchester, Oslo, Copenhagen, and Helsinki.
Ms. Misalucha was complemented by Baihana, an all Filipina trio of Krina Cayabyab, Mel Torre, and Anna Achacoso, who joined her throughout her European Tour.
Opening acts included performances from Geneva’s own Denise Kupper and Milan-based talents: singer Dave Harley Garcia, son of an OFW based in Geneva and dancers Supreme Dance Crew. END
