PHL Consulate General in Geneva Conducts its First Open House “PCG Ko, Bukas ng Linggo” for 2018

23 March 2018 GENEVA —The Philippine Consulate General in Geneva conducted its first Open House for 2018 entitled “PCG Ko, Bukas ng Linggo” on March 11. The “PCG Ko, Bukas ng Linggo” is a series of open houses on a Sunday per quarter in which the Consulate opens its doors for the whole day to provide consular services such as passporting, civil registry, dual citizenship and notarials to Filipinos residing in cantons Geneva and Vaud.

As part of the Consulate’s efforts to bring the services of the Government closer to the Filipinos, it has cooperated with the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) Geneva, SSS, and Pag-IBIG (both Milan based) to make Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), SSS and Pag-IBIG services also available during the Open House.

The first “PCG Ko, Bukas ng Linggo” for the year 2018 was able to provide consular and related services to some 100 Filipinos. END
