The MADZ Sings for the Filipino Community in Geneva

Geneva Madrigal Singers 1

It was a night that many OFWs in Geneva would long remember as the world class choir Philippine Madrigal Singers, commonly known as the MADZ, serenaded them during the Filipino Catholic mass celebrated at the John the XXIII Parish Church in Petit Saconnex in Geneva, Switzerland. They appreciated the gesture of the MADZ, which they only read as an elite singing group with multiple awards from various countries, in joining them in their worship celebration and even sang for them.  The Filipino Catholic community in Geneva holds a monthly mass in Filipino every 2nd Sunday of the month.

Around 200 OFWs enjoyed the company of the MADZ. A souvenir group photo capped the interaction between the MADZ and the Filipino OFWs in Geneva. The Philippine Consulate in Geneva assisted in organizing this interaction with the Filipino community. END
