11 September 2017 GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – On 03tember 03, the Philippine Consulate General in Geneva, Switzerland conducted its 3rd Open House entitled “PCG Ko, Bukas ng Linggo” for 2017 and served at least 100 OFWs and their families. “This is the first time I have seen a consulate in Switzerland open on a Sunday to provide services to its nationals. It’s very impressive”, said a Swiss national who was present during the Open House.

The Open House is part of the Consulate’s efforts in bringing services of the Government closer to Filipinos based in Geneva and Vaud. It enables those who have no time during weekdays to visit the consulate and avail of much needed consular and Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) services.

The Open House is normally conducted on a Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, due to the increased demand of Filipinos who wish to avail of SSS, Pag-ibig, and OWWA services, the Consulate also opened on Saturday, 02 September 2017.
