The trio, which plays classical contemporary guitar, performed Spanish guitar pieces, tangos, and other Filipino traditional and classic songs, putting their unique “touch” on these compositions. A note-worthy performance was their classical rendition of “Ang Huling El Bimbo” by the Filipino rock band Eraserheads which had Filipinos in the audience humming to the song.

Officers and personnel of the Philippine Mission to the United Nations and Other International Organizations, together with the Filipino community, enjoyed the beautiful guitar music of Triple Fret.

The concert was made possible by the University of the Philippines Alumni Association in Geneva together with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Geneva, Switzerland. END
