To All Interested Parties:

            Please be notified that the Resident Election Registration Board (RERB) of the Philippine Consulate General in Geneva will convene on 24 April 2017 at 3:00 o’clock in the morning at the Philippine Mission Conference Room, 47 Avenue Blanc, Geneva Switzerland, 1202, to hear applications for registration/certification of overseas voters. The list of applicants is hereto attached.

            Any interested party who would like to interpose any objection to the list may file their opposition in writing addressed to the RERB Geneva. The last day to file opposition is on 4 MAY 2017.

27 November 2016, Geneva, Switzerland- the Philippine Consulate General in Geneva, Switzerland held its “PCG Ko, Bukas Ng Linggo” program for the last quarter of 2016 on Sunday, 27 November 2016. This Open House is the last among a series of regularly scheduled Sundays in each quarter in which the Consulate if Open for the whole day to provide consular services to Filipinos under its jurisdiction residing in the cantons of Geneva and Vaud, Switzerland.

Filipinos, who are unable to visit the Consulate during weekdays because of their work schedules, took advantage of the Open House; with one applicant stating that, “it is very helpful that the Consulate is open on a Sunday since it is her(my) only free day from work”.

The Consulate was open for the whole day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to provide services such as passporting, civil registry, dual citizenship, and notarial while the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Geneva provided Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) services.

The Open House is part of the Consulate’s efforts to bring the services of the Government closer to the Filipinos, and has been conducted regularly since May 2014. END


In the last few weeks, there been several reports that Filipinos will be granted visa free entry into United Kingdom.

There reports are completely false. The source of the social media feed is, a website whose terms of use states that “it provides fake news and social criticism in satirical way”.

This is an update on the ongoing elections. The COMELEC has issued a new set of guidelines/rules allowing those overseas Filipinos, who are registered in other Philippine Embassies/Consulates but are now residing/working in Geneva and/or Vaud, to vote at the Philippine Mission/Consulate General in Geneva.

First, please check if you are an active registered voter at any Philippine Embassy/Consulate.

Then, you can do the following steps:

     1. Fill up the MANIFESTATION OF INTENTION TO VOTE form (attached). Submit this to the Voting Center of the Philippine Mission/Philippine Consulate General in Geneva, together with a copy of your passport and/or voter’s ID.

     2. The Mission/Consulate will verify with COMELEC the status of your registration.

    3. Once COMELEC has verified that you are an active registered overseas Filipino voter, you will be allowed to vote.

The Voting Center of the Philippine Consulate in Geneva is open daily (including weekends and holidays) from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. On 09 May, the last day of overseas voting, the Voting Center will be open from 1:00 a.m. to 11 a.m.
